FAQ’s for Potential Center Directors

Do I have to teach Conversaid at another Center before I can apply for a license?
No. Most directors do not have the opportunity to teach Conversaid before they start their own center. However, it is a great experience for you to teach first, so if you have the opportunity, we recommend that you take it.

What are the steps to becoming a Conversaid associate director?
After successfully completing the complete teacher training, you then submit your trademark license application for review. If the license is approved, you will be an Associate Director. Most of the time, the associate director is the first teacher of the center. You will have both titles: licensed center director and registered facilitator. Additional facilitators at licensed centers are called certified facilitators.

I passed the teacher training and submitted a licensing application. May I order an instructor training manual and exercise teaching video now?
No. The application must first be approved by Live Faculty, LLC. Also, the instructor materials and videos are only available to registered facilitators/licensed directors who will be teaching the upcoming Conversaid semester.

How long will the application process take?
The amount of time varies, but is typically four weeks to six weeks. Occasionally during a busy season it takes 7 or 8 weeks.
