Originally from the U.S., Kathleen has a BFA (with honours) in Acting from Emerson College in Boston, Mass. She now works as an actor & voice teacher with ARTA. Kathleen holds private voice and audition coaching for perfor mers and public speakers and she teaches group classes across the U.S. and Canada. Kathleen has also helped people with challenges such as breathiness, mumbling, shyness and vocal confidence in workplace settings. She has taught in voice classes for over 5 years using the ARTA Method combined with a unique approach to foreign speakers struggling with stage fright. She has done voice over work and background voice work on numerous radio spots and films and as a resident artist in regional theatres. She is available for on-set voice coaching and enjoys working with high school students on Shakespeare’s text analysis. One of ARTA’s Lead Trainers, she is proud to to be part of the ARTA team.
