Host A Workshop – FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in hosting a Conversaid Level 1 Instructor Training Course. Please download or email ARTA for a hosting agreement form.
Below you will find some basic information regarding the hosting process:

Question: Who may attend?

There are no prerequisites, anyone interested in learning how to teach Conversaid, the Fusion between Singing-Acting-Movement and Public Speaking are welcome.

Question: Any recommendations?

It is highly recommended that attendees have had some Acting, Singing or Public Speaking experience or in teaching these subjects as a plus.

Question: What does it cost to host?

Nothing! The host facility will receive one free workshop registration. Usually the free person chosen is a facility staff instructor and will also be available to assist the Conversaid Master Trainer with on site registration, setup and breakdown if the host facility group exercise manager is unable to assist.

Question: What is the course registration fee?

$2499 per person. Fee includes: Instructor Training Manual, Conversaid Training DVD or video download, Conversaid Training Manual, and Certificate of Completion.

Question: How do instructors register?

All workshop attendees should register online at www.speak-well.org

Question: Is there a discount?

Pre-registration is highly recommended – Bulk discounts for registration is available for more than 10 trainees.

Question: How do I reserve my hosting date?

Reserve your course date by completing the Hosting form. It is recommended to provide us with at least 3 hosting date choices.

Question: What do we need to provide to host the training?

Facility should provide a room to fit a group of at least 30 seated individuals for the one-day workshop. Room should be available for 11 hours of time to allow for adequate set-up prior to the workshop and wrap-up after the workshop. A wood floor and AV input adaptable monitor system with speakers, mirrors and floor mats are preferred. Air conditioning or heat is required. 2-3 tables for registration and product sales are preferred.

Question: Demos and Master classes?

Hosting facility may schedule a Member Demo Class open to all school members the day prior to the workshop. Master class fee $100, if f there is no charge to members or a 75 -75 % revenue split between Conversaid and the facility if this is a fee based class.

Question: Updating the host site staff by providing information about the training?

Front desk, staff, and management should be advised to answer questions about the Workshop and FREE or Fee Based demo class if one has been scheduled. The url to refer interested parties to is www.speak-well.org or call Conversaid at (844) 773-2593.

Question: How to promote the training?

Conversaid will provide advertising and marketing materials to assist in the promotion of the workshop. The host site will receive an email flyer promoting the workshop. Host site may forward this flyer to their contacts. Conversaid will provide a flyer template for host site to print and display throughout the facility.

Question: What is the cancellation policy?

Conversaid reserves the right to cancel the workshop up to three days prior to the workshop date due to low registration or any other extenuating circumstances such as weather or other issues that may arise. Conversaid will make every effort to reschedule the training. Conversaid will not be responsible for expenses and losses resulting from such cancellations, i.e., travel expenses.

Question: Can instructors sell Conversaid gear?

Conversaid Master Trainers may bring a limited amount of Conversaid products to sell to the workshop attendees or members. There is no % or fee paid to the school.
